There are many types of gas fires and they’re all designed for a specific idea in mind. Some are for aesthetics, some are for practicality and some are both.

Standard Inset – Inset gas fires are exactly what they sound like. The engine is flush, inset, into the wall and they can either be glass fronted or open. They range from a standard size of 16″ to much bigger ones like Gazco’s Riva2 600HL. They can be landscape, portrait or square.

Gas Stoves – Exactly what it sounds like, the look and feel of a wood burner without the hassle.

Flueless – Flueless gas fires don’t require a flue because they contain a catalytic converter which takes the potentially harmful emissions from the fire and convert them into safe, breathable gases. Due to the emissions then entering the room, a vent is required to be installed in the same room as the fire to ensure proper airflow.

This is one of our gas stoves, the Sheraton 5 by Gazco, on display in the showroom. It is controlled via remote control (with child-lock) and has an output of 4.0kW.

It is easy and quick to use, lights within seconds, and is made of steel and cast iron for efficient heat distribution and the aesthetic of a real stove.

Includes non-combustible logs and ceramic stones which mimic embers to create the look of a realistic wood burning fire.

This fire is the Riva2 650HL, a remote controlled fire with similar logs and ceramic stones as the Sheraton 5 above. With a 4.6kW output and only a 75mm depth, fitting into most homes, you cant go wrong with this fire.
