Cannot recommend Evans highly enough and would definitely use again. From a very informative showroom with non-pushy sales and great advice on the home visit to being kept in the loop at all stages and very conscientious installation guys, all employees really are a credit to the company! Everything was professional, efficient and friendly and we love how cosy it’s made the place.

We have recently had a dual fuel log burner fitted by Evans – in the showroom the staff are friendly, polite and knowlegable.

We last had a new fire place and stone surrounds installed by Bill Evans in 1982! And 42 years later (!) decided to replace the old gas fire with a new electric one. So called at the showroom at Syston and had a “catch up” chat with Bill. New electric fire installed and old gas appliance removed . Very happy with the result !

My mum had the Riva2 fitted a few weeks ago, loves it similar look as her old coal fire but without all the hassle! excellent experience all round from the showroom staff to the fitters, all were polite and professional, would definitely recommend, 5 star service

Went in to get advice about a chimney sweep and was given a contact. Then asked for advice on cleaning the Heta fire and was again given excellent advice. Fab business that cares about their customers past and present.

Very happy with the service from the site visit to the fitting and removal of the old fire. The fitter was very clean in his work and on completion throughly explained the workings of the new model.

We had a multifuel stove fitted with a sandstone surround, as well as the chimney lined. Everyone was really pleasant, helpful and professional. The fitters arrived when they said they would, and left the house spotless after they’d finished. We are delighted with the result, which greatly improves the appearance of the room, and works beautifully. We’re delighted to recommend this firm.

We are now enjoying the second most excellent gas fire supplied and fitted by Evans. Their staff are most knowledgeable and the fireplaces which they design and make are of the highest quality.

From my initial enquiry through to the installation of my Huntington gas stove I have nothing but praise for the care and consideration for my personal needs Evans showed.
The showroom staff were informative and efficient in making my decision easy. The follow up on site meeting was thorough and helpful in resolving visual and practical issues relating to existing factors. The installation was exemplary in every way, no complaints.

We are thrilled with our new Kibworth fireplace. It is stunning, crafted in  Natural Spanish sandstone with a slate hearth. Bill, Mant and the fitters were so helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Just fantastic first class work from initial survey of job required to fitting and building of fire place. New flue required so reclaimed brickwork outside needed to be repaired. You can’t see where repair was done – brilliant. Workmanship of new fireplace in lounge was so neat. Many thanks for a great job.

From first visit to showroom at beginning of year to installation end April nothing was too much trouble. Showroom staff guided us through options and we decided on inset burner, so that we could retain existing fire surrounds. The fitters turned up on day exactly at given time, they did excellent job, explain throughout what they were doing, made first rate job of cleaning up, not that they made much mess. Would not hesitate recommending Evans to anybody thinking of putting Multi Fuel Burner in their home.

The whole process of greeting 2 fires and fireplaces installed was great, very good customer service, excellent value for money and the gentlemen that installed them were efficient, polite and very hard working.
The house was spotless when they finished and they explained everything to me before they left.

For disclosure, I’ve been mates with Bill for over 30 years and this is the second time he has installed a fire in one of my homes. On this occasion we chose to have a dual fuel log burner. Perfectly advised on which model to have by Mant in their showroom, good old chat with my old mate Bill.

The installation could not have been better. The boys arrived on time, were tidy and efficient, and did a superb job. The product is brilliant – love it.

We had a log burner supplied and fitted along with a false chimney breast. From first visiting the showroom to the speedy quote and site visit all that to the fitting was trouble free. Very professional in the showroom and the two guys that did the installation over two days were very polite and made an excellent job of it. I bought a multi fuel log burner and fire surround from Evan’s Fire Places.they took the old gas fire and old fire place out .fitted the new surround and log burner , cleared everything away. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The log burner that I picked looked too big so they even placed that with one they had on the van and it looked perfect. I can thoroughly recommend them .

The recent replacement of our 30plus year old stove was to bring both the stove and flu up to current regulations. Although not an entirely straight forward job the staff dealt with the installation efficiently on time and budget. We are very satisfied with the end result.

We have purchased two wood burner stoves from Evans Fireplaces in the past 18 months. It was great to have a good showroom to visit with plenty of stock and helpful staff to discuss our requirements and inform our choice. Each time the site survey was undertaken promptly and a thorough quotation provided. Fitting was efficient and the team were polite and tidy. The performance of both stoves are good. We would not hesitate to use Evans again and to recommend to family and friends.

We have just had a new fireplace and fire installed. We are very impressed with the workmanship of the limestone surround and hearth and the skilled workmanship in fitting it. It has made a tremendous difference to our sitting room. Very impressed.

We bought the Passion HE Provence gas fire to fit into our existing surround and mantle. We wanted something sleek and modern with the look of a real fire, and had been on the hunt for one for months. In just one visit to Evans, we were directed to the Passion HE which looked stunning in store. We bought without the fitting service as we knew a gas engineer who could do the job, but turned out wasn’t available. Evans were super quick to step in, the fitters turned up on time and were very efficient and friendly. The result is absolutely gorgeous and we couldn’t be more pleased!

We met with Mant and his team, selected the fireplace that we wanted and the Team came to home measured up and gave us the plan. The day of the installation, the team came, took a long time to do the prep (basically covering with everything with dust sheets etc.) and then away they went and finished installing in one and half days. It would have finished in one day but there was an issue with my Chimney but they sorted it out without fuss. 6 months after installation one of the tiles was loose, no issues Mant arranged for his team to come and sort out. 45 min job and done. I would highly recommend Evans as they are very professional, no headaches, clean work, and the amazing team both in the showroom and on site. Thank you for a great job, we really enjoyed our fireplace in 2022, not only saved lots of money but kept warm and a lovely feature in our home. The only think I am disappointed about is that they give you a score to score 1 out of 5, I wish it was higher as I would have given 6 or 7. Happy to share photos.

Top quality shop

Superb log burner, perfect installation courteous and polite. They accidentally knocked our satellite dish out of alignment when gaining access onto the roof but they got a professional round to realign in no time at all and without fuss, a sign of true professionals. I have already given their details to our dog walker who noticed our beautiful stove. We couldn’t be happier

I chose Evans for my new fire and surround, as someone local used them and recommended.
I went to the showroom and found exactly what I wanted. Mant arranged a visit to quote,and arrived on time, a d discussed my needs. Quote was sent the following day. I agreed it and was given an installation date. All very efficient so far.
On installation day 2 very young lads arrived, a little late, but insisted that the job would be complete by the end of the day. I must admit, I was somewhat sceptical. However, they worked like Trojans, and obviously knew exactly what they were doing, and sure enough, I had a beautiful new fire by 4.30!
I cannot stress enough, how easy the whole experience was. All staff were polite, and efficient. ,and my house was left spotless, ( and very warm!!)

Really pleased with my Bassington stove and harlequin hearth. Evans were prompt to reply to my request for a quote and set out the information in the way I’d asked for. Once the price was agreed my items were ordered swiftly and fitting went ahead as planned on the agreed date. The lads were polite and helpful and, most of all, did a great job with the fitting which was all done in a day. We are over the moon with our recently purchased gas log burner, we was going to get rid of our stone fireplace and gas coal fire that we had had for sometime and was looking a bit tired and dated, but on the reassurance that the fireplace could be altered to house a stove it not only transformed the fireplace that I now love again, but also saved us thousands of pounds.

In a moment of what I thought was madness I recently bought an Antique wood fired heater at an Antiques fair, but when I got home I realised that it was a wreck and falling apart.
I had used Evans Fireplace Centre in the past and had a great experience so I popped into the shop to get some advice about how I could get the fire up and running again.
Bill the owner immediately recognised what I had purchased and supplied me with all of the necessary materials to refurbish the unit, along with a flue to take the smoke outside of my house.
Now it works a treat and overall it was an excellent experience, and I have to use the phrase and say ‘I can’t recommend them highly enough’.

We had a really first rate service from Evans fireplaces. They were able to advise us on possible options, managed fitting before Christmas and were able to extend our fireplace, fit a new stove and an external flue in a single day.
We love our fireplace and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a new stove!

After many years of looking at fireplaces we finally took the plunge and haven’t regretted it one bit. We ordered a beautiful made to measure Cambridge sandstone fireplace and multi fuel stove and are thrilled with the results. Just wanted to say what a fantastic job that your fitter did. He was very professional and when he was finished I couldn’t even tell he had been here. Not even a speck of dust was left. I must say I am very impressed with the overall look of the woodburner, which I was advised by Bill to choose. I originally had a gas pipe running to the fireplace which was removed and the fitter even put my panelling back where it was and there was no damage at all. He took great care to leave everything exactly as it was.

I have just had a wood burner fitted from Evans Fireplaces of Syston and I am absolutely thrilled with the superb workmanship of their staff. They were very professional and helpful from purchase to the end finish. I was advised to go with a set in model due to the size of my fireplace and I am really pleased with the result. The fitters were prompt and tidy. When they left it was as if they hadn’t even been there it was so clean. They even took all the extra rubble etc away with them, leaving me nothing to do except light the fire! Just wish the weather was cooler so that I could. I had a fire place and fire fitted a year ago and have just called to arrange a service. I have just realised that there is a review option on the site and would like to take the opportunity to go on record regarding the service. Evans made the fire place to our specifications and took the time to go through the specifications of fires with us to make sure we could get what we wanted. We had spoken to other, closer companies and all had been dismissive and reluctant to discuss the fire specifications and our needs. this suggested to me that they did not know the answers.
